DREAD MOHAWK

black men absolutely love Mohawk No reason why others won't find it good. The Mohawk with braided side dreads locked into twists at the top can be a fitting choice for those who want a bold change.

SHORT DREAD

Short dreadlocks are easy to wear and are a good choice if you like to go simple with no pinning or braiding. Short dread style is as appealing as the longer one.

PONYTAIL

Pretty edgy and needs a lot of confidence to pull it off. The dreadlocks are braided up at the back, forming a spiky pineapple ponytail. You can turn it into a sharper look by dyeing the locks with a lively red shade.

CURLY DREAD

Men with curly hairs can have curly dreadlocks. Natural curls along with medium length dreadlocks offer a stylish look. Get them set by a professional for added texture.

Basket weave plait demands a lot of patience and time, wherein the dreads are collected into a ponytail while the braid is formed of locs from the hairline.

If you want to style your hair like the famous rapper Wale, either pull your dreadlocks back into a fishtail or wear the basket weave plait. To pull this off, your hair should ideally be 8-9 inches long.

Braiding the dreads is another unique hairstyle that offers variations. If you have thick and long locs like Lil Wayne, then opt for the trendy French braided dread style that will surely turn a lot of heads.

CHIEF KEEF DREADS

The rapper Chief Keef is known for his twisted, small and tight dreadlocks. To get a similar style initially you need to make smaller skinnier dreads, which will eventually grow into long and full dreadlocks.
